life serenades us | effortlessly twirling us in dance after dance
forcing us to play our parts | sometimes begrudgingly, drunkenly
this undefined drama | beyond what we think we can handle
we leap after dreams | toddlers after fireflies in the night
awkwardly stretching | hoping for just a glimpse
but the harder we grasp | the more the twinkles disappear
whispers of meaning and purpose | that elusive magic
we cling to random webs of memories | weaving them into identities
hoping to find solace | through stories we tell ourselves
eventually cherished memories fade | edges blur into mist
leaving fragments of what no longer exists | ephemeral nature of chaotic souls
their fragrance lingering still | poetry that transcends logic
bound together by invisible threads of love | longing across the cosmos
maybe all we can hope for | some meaning in misunderstandings
embrace the fleeting beauty of life | open arms and grateful hearts
the transitory moments we’re here
