I didn’t know my worth
but I finally found it
I use music, painting, and writing
as my outlet
the artists I listen to
they speak life into me
they can identify their
hurt, pain, and pleasure
and while listening intently
I’ve been able to identify mine
with that being said
I’ve been able to find
that when the music shifts
the tone, beats, and speed
my perspective can be changed
and I can start to feel free
