“Hey!”
My besties rush up to me,
Showing the cute pics from yesterday;
They squeal and post on Insta.
But all I can see is my slouched back,
My noodle arms stretching down,
My face melting and glitching,
My pitch-black eyes staring right into my soul,
And peach-colored antennas spouting from my head.
I stare in horror.
The words, “Everyone has seen them,” rang in my head;
I look up from their phone, stating,
“They’re lovely.”
