The Chanel princess floats out of her cab
And up to the noble townhome,
Pristine gloves gliding on intricate railings,
Preserving new French manicures.
But ammonia and vomit infiltrate the air.
Dirt-etched hand stretches closer;
Her quick sidestep, his hand drops.
Miss… could you?
Barely moves his cracked lips.
Flashing crisp dollar bills, she grins brightly,
Tossing money she’d never miss.
Not even hers: money earned by whining to Daddy.
